Fido’s Free Itch Flea Shampoo is a mild shampoo which will not irritate even the most sensitive skins. It has been especially prepared to produce a soft, lustrous coat and remove doggy odours. For best results use weekly in summer months and control fleas in pet’s bedding.

COMPOSITION Pyrethrins 1g/L, Piperonyl butoxide 10g/L.

ACTIONS The natural pyrethrins, which have no anti-cholinesterase activity, act in insects by slowly closing the sodium channel activation gate causing hyperexcitation followed by convulsion and death. They are synergised by piperonyl butoxide, which has a minor repellant action in its own right.

INDICATIONSFleas and lice on cats and dogs.

CONTRAINDICATIONSUse in sick or convalescing animals.

WARNINGSIn paralysis tick areas daily examination of dogs and cats is desirable. May cause dribbling and unsteady gait in cats. If one or both occur wipe off excess product and contact a veterinarian.

PRECAUTIONSUse with caution on puppies and kittens.

SAFETY DIRECTIONSWash exposed parts of the body after use, and before eating, drinking or smoking. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes, and avoid breathing vapour.

FIRST AIDIf poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. If swallowed, and if more than 15 minutes from a hospital induce vomiting, preferably using Ipecac Syrup APF.

DIRECTIONS FOR USEWet the coat thoroughly with warm water and apply FIDO’S FLEA SHAMPOO at several places. Work into a good lather and massage well into the coat. Leave for 5 minutes, them rinse with clean warm water and dry thoroughly.

Nice smell
